Utilities & Variable Charges
Water, sewer, or other utilities are not included in your rent, you are responsible for payment each month based on actual usage. These charges are billed separately from rent and are outlined in your lease agreement. Failure to pay variable charges may constitute a lease violation.
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 55.1-1204.1, ‘Rent’ includes all money owed to the landlord under the lease agreement, excluding the security deposit. For updated rental rates, please check our floorplan availability page(s).

- The following breeds are restricted from the Highlands Apartments: Pit Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chows, and Spitz.
- A non-refundable one-time fee is required for all pets.

The staff, especially Pia Robles, was very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming and answered all of my questions.
